Attractive Victorian bronze rowing prize medal won by Exeter College Boat Club, Oxford in 1880. Obverse: The raised coat of arms of Exeter College. Reverse: A girdle around the border in which is the raised inscription: EXETER COLLEGE BOAT CLUB. In the centre, within a wreath of part laurel leaves and part fruited oak leaves is engraved: Morrell Fours 1880.
Exeter College is one of the Oxford University Colleges and was founded in 1314 by Walter Stapleton, bishop of Exeter.
