Oak, with patinated pine sides and polished pine back boards
With slight Mahognay decoration to plate rack and dresser base

With T formation of drawers
Inlaid bone escutcheons
Nicely pierced and fretted fascia board to plate rack
Original handles and feet

From Anglesey area of North Wales
This dresser is a transitional piece, with the beginning influence of the Victorian period, when mahogany decoration was added.
