Description / Expertise
The cover and base engraved with tartan pattern. The spine decorated with reeding and the cover also displaying a vacant cartouche. Very fine interior gilding, the grille pierced and engraved with swirling scrolls. Made in Birmingham in 1846 by Edward Smith.
