Description / Expertise
A very fine George III silver gilt Vinaigrette, broad rectangular in form, the cover decorated with a raised outer border of vines and grapes surrounding an engine turned panel. The central cartouche displaying raised gold contemporary initials. The sides decorated with cording and the base with engine turning. Fine interior gilding and the grille pierced with a foliate plume surrounded by flower heads. Made in Birmingham in 1817 by Samuel Pemberton.
