Description / Expertise
an important german silver mounted tortoiseshell, ivory and ebony cabine. The wonderfully embellised front with a broken arched pediment flanked by silver figures of night and day after michelanglo, above a hexagonal niche with an ivory and ebony chequered floor. The drawer fronts are mounted with pieced and cast relief's of landscapes and classical adventures, the sides are decorated in a similar manner. The top is surmounted with a silver balustrade and flower filled urns.
