c. 1st-2nd Century A.D
Slightly oval shaped hoop of gold band with central ridge flanked on either side by rope border terminating in two large ovolo flanking either end of oval bezel and constituting first bud of ovolo border, each ovolo gradually diminishing in size toward the centre. Vibrant orange carnelian inlay finely engraved with wreathed Neptune riding a hippocamp with Dolphin swimming alongside.
