Description / Expertise
Engraved with foliate motifs and a contemporary initial. The bowl displays a beautifully shaped edge and is engraved with a band of scratch and prick dot designs. Fully marked on the reverse of the bowl and with the maker’s mark on the handle. Made in Birmingham in 1813 by Joseph Taylor.
