Description / Expertise
The rectangular top with chamfered corners has inlay and satinwood crossbanding within fine stringing.
The hinged top opens to an interior with two divisions. The frieze is inlaid as panels with stringing and
corssbanding to each side and the frieze conceals a slide to the front. The tapered legs, with stringing
and diamond trellis inlay to the tops, are united by stretchers of X form.
Note. the slide may originally have incorporated a work bag.
