Description / Expertise
Nineteenth century trompe loel painting, oil on canvas, of a print pinned to a wooden panel. Inscribed to the reverse "The Madonna and Child after the celebrated picture by Marillo representing a mezzotint by Archd. Gunn Snr. Mount Shannon 1844 for the Protestant Bazaar Limmerick."
In a period parcel gilt gesso frame.
