21st Dynasty, circa. 1000 B.C,
Absolutely superb brilliant blue glazed Shabti figure of the Priest of Amun, Nes-per-Nub, with well modeled features and crisp black detailing and inscription, from the second Deir el Bahari Cache of the priests of Amun.
Typical mummiform composition, wears tripartite wig, arms well modeled crossed over the chest, hoe in each hand, basket on reverse, two lines of vertical inscription.
The quality, colour and condition of this piece are absolutely outstanding, very rarely find anything of this pedigree on the market.
