A leather football, signed by the Arsenal team of 1936. The ball is inscribed and signed in ink, which has partly faded. The inscription reads Arsenal F.C. 1936. The signatures are N.Sidey, Bobby Davidson, George Male, Alex James, George Cox, Peter Dougal, Jock (John) Milne, Bob John, Cliff Bastin, Compton, George Allison (Manager), Joe Shaw (Assistant Manager). Having won the League the previous year Arsenal won the FA Cup in 1936 beating Sheffield 1 nil in the final.
