Victorian Oak Arts & Crafts Antique Upholstered Bench
This beautiful Victorian oak Arts & Crafts antique upholstered bench ca 1890 has an upholstered back above beautifully shaped, carved upright supports. The piece has an upholstered seat, shaped arms, splayed back legs and beautifully turned front legs. The new upholstery fabric is a neutral colour with a raised velvet leaf design.
An unusual bench in a striking Arts & Crafts design, the piece is a light / medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
