Description / Expertise
A fine quality George III bowfronted wall hanging corner cupboard. The cupboard has a pair of doors, hung on 'H' shaped gilded brass hinges with ebony and boxwood stringing to the door panels. The cornice is shaped and inlaid with the frieze beneath having five oval inlaid panels. The centre frieze panel is decorated with an urn and flowers, whilst the two outter panels either side are inlaid with conch shells and the remaining panels inlaid with fans. The interior has four shelves, the bottom one fitted with two oak lined drawers. (Circa 1800) Height 111cm Width 75cm Depth 48cm *This cabinet would be ideal for housing a flat screen television with the maximum dimensions of 51cm wide and 48cm high*
