To protect the prestige of the art dealers, the Italian Antiquarian Association continues to do all in its power to establish the maximum levels of correct professional practice and dignity for the category. In order to provide greater guarantees for purchasers and collectors, it has set up a Members’ Trademark; this constitutes the emblem of the Association and distinguishes its Associates.

The use of the Trademark binds the Associates not to sell any object without an exhaustive declaration of its characteristics in terms of period and authenticity, and to issue the guarantee documents for the works sold, complete with photographs and reference to any partial restoration performed.
