Baggott Church Street Limited is situated in the ancient thoroughfare which leads to Stow on the Wold's historic Market Square. Their large Edwardian frontage, unique to the town, is a legacy from the Hiatt family who established a haberdashery business there in the 19th century, the premises being rebuilt in the 1920s after a major fire. The business holds a large and varied stock of 17th-, 18th- and early 19th-century English antiques, featuring fine mahogany furniture of the Georgian and Regency periods, English oak and country furniture; metalwork; decorative antique objects; landscape and naive portrait paintings; works of art, Folk Art and Colonial pieces. With over 30 years experience as dealers in Stow on the Wold, Baggott Church Street have built up a following of customers from both home and abroad and are a useful source of inspiration for interior decorators.
