Howard Walwyn Ltd Fine Antique Clocks

Howard Walwyn Clocks is an award winning and leading specialist dealer in English clocks dating from the 17th century until the mid-19th century.

Their gallery is located in the heart of West London's famous Kensington Church Street. Here can be found a wide ranging and ever changing stock, exceptional clocks by many of the greatest English clockmakers. You will regularly find pieces by Thomas Tompion, the Knibb family, George Graham, Daniel Quare, the Vulliamys, Dent and Frodsham in the gallery or online. Whether offering advice to the first-time buyer or to the collector looking for the rarest pieces, Howard's commitment and integrity are all-important.

Thanks to his background in linguistics, Howard is also able to conduct business with international clients in the major European languages. His approachable manner and ability to listen to his clients ensure he can guide you no matter what your needs or budget.

Over the years, Howard has built up a loyal following of private clients and collectors and he has been privileged to sell a number of special clocks to museums both in the UK and abroad. In 2012 he advised on the purchase of 25 timepieces for the Dumfries House Trust, Scotland, whose patron is the Prince of Wales.

Howard is a Freeman of the Clockmakers company and he has exhibited and served on the clock vetting committees at the major international art and antiques fairs in London and New York.

He is also a member of all three major antiques trade associations: BADA, CINOA and LAPADA.
