Ronald Phillips Ltd was founded in 1952 by Ronald Phillips, and has since established a reputation for selling the finest 18th- and early 19th-century English furniture from the Queen Anne, Georgian and Regency periods. The business has developed into a leading antique house and is based in the heart of Mayfair, London.
The company handles pieces by famous 18th-century craftsmen from - Thomas Chippendale, William Linnell, Robert Adam, Thomas Sheraton and Matthew Boulton. Today it holds the largest and most comprehensive collection of 18th-century mirrors and also sells 18th-century glass, including chandeliers, wall lights and decanters.
Ronald’s son, Simon Phillips, now at the helm of the business, is one of the founding members of Masterpiece London, at The Royal Hospital Chelsea - an inter-disciplinary fusion of traditional and modern that provides an opportunity for old and new to coexist with the finest antiques and decorative arts complementing contemporary design.
