Galerie Latham

Galerie Latham

The Latham Gallery was opened in 1981 by Lionel Latham. The gallery specializes in the decorative arts of the 20th and 21st centuries and is located in the heart of cultural and financial Geneva. After a period dedicated to organizing numerous “historical” thematic exhibitions, Lionel Latham began to present contemporary Swiss creations, including furniture and objects. His knowledge of the history of decorative arts (Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Design) serves the discovery of innovative designers. Contemporary designers followed by the gallery include Yves Boucard, Françoise Bolli, Jérôme Blanc, and Barbara Amstutz. Since 2008, the gallery has published several exhibition catalogs, notably the exhibition catalog Mémoires d’objets, which presented works by contemporary artists alongside antique objects. The Latham Gallery has participated in numerous exhibitions in Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, and Brussels.
