Rolleston was founded in 1955 in its current premises in the heart of Kensington. The company has now established a fine reputation with museums, private clients and art & antique dealers throughout the world, in dealing in items of furniture from the Queen Anne, Georgian and Regency periods.
Rolleston’s policy is only to acquire fine examples, that have elegant proportions and have retained a good colour and patina. To find examples that meet these criteria is rare.
Their collection, impartial advice and contacts within the market have proven invaluable to clients seeking to start a collection and furnish a house; or to those who have already formed one and are looking for a particular piece.
The company is a long-standing member of the British Antique Dealers Association Brian Rolleston having served on its Council for many years. Members of the family have also played an integral part in the 17th- and 18th-century English furniture vetting committees of the Grosvenor House Fine Art and Antiques Fair and The British Antiques Dealers’ Association Antiques & Fine Art Fair.
