Piergabriele Vangelli de’Cresci has been an antiquarian, art dealer and fine art connoisseur for over thirty years. He is the son and grandson of famous and established antiquarians who were renowned for their taste and expertise in works of art.
The gallery specialises in 19th- and 20th-century European and British paintings, watercolours and drawings, as well as Chinese works of art and antiquities. Decorative items and many works of art from the Classics to the 20th century also feature in the gallery’s eclectic collection of objects.
Prior to opening his gallery in London, he has organised several important and renowned exhibitions and art shows at his gallery in Via Margutta, Rome. He has exhibited at several major fairs in Europe including fairs in Milan, London and Rome. In London, he has exhibited at the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair in Berkeley Square, Olympia Fine Art & Antiques Fair and the Winter Fine Art & Antiques Fair, Olympia, where he won The LAPADA “Best Stand 2012” award. In 2013, he also exhibited in the first Mayfair Antiques & Fine Art Fair at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square.
