Our antique oak and country furniture, and unusual decorative objects and folk art, are amongst the best to be found anywhere. We choose them for their style and strength of design, for originality, plus a special quality that raises it above the ordinary.
Our stock is on view in the atmospheric setting of our 18th century London town house, and in an adjacent garden room of modern design. The 1776 house is located in one of London’s hidden gems, a surprising enclave, rich in delightful Georgian and Regency architecture. We are in Central London, just outside the congestion charging zone, about 12 -15 minutes drive from Sloane Square (Chelsea) and the antiques hub of the Pimlico Road, with easy access and parking.
Our pieces have all the individual charm of country-made things, often with a strong sculptural quality. They are mainly English and Welsh, 18th century and earlier, and reflect a love of native British woods – oak, elm, ash, walnut and fruitwood – and of wonderful colour and patination.
