Artemis – Art Gallery
ARTEMIS Gallery has been operating in Kraków since 1994, presenting contemporary Polish art in the fields of painting, graphics, sculpture, and photography. The gallery organizes exhibitions for artists it collaborates with, showcasing works by renowned artists as well as promoting young talents.
More than 250 solo exhibitions have taken place within Artemis’s interiors, and the gallery has also organized exhibitions outside its own premises, for example at the Palace of Art, the International Cultural Centre, the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre, the Olympic Centre, and Polish Institutes abroad.
The character and atmosphere of the gallery are shaped by two generations of gallerists: the founder Janina Górka-Czarnecka and the current owner—her daughter, Dominika Czarnecka.
The gallery’s offer includes works by, among others:
Berdowska, Brzozowski, Dobkowski, Dominik, Dwurnik, Gawdzik, Grzyb, Güntner, Jackiewicz, Karpowicz Joanna, Karpowicz Katarzyna, Karpowicz-Westner Anna, Kraupe, Kunz, Kuryluk, Lebenstein, Leszczyńska-Kluza, Lupa, Maśluszczak, Mikulski, Moryciński, Mucha, Musiałowicz, Orbitowski, Panek, Rolke, Rzepiński, Sienicki, Sroka, Starowieyski, Stasys, Srzednicki, Tarasewicz, Waltoś, Wiktor.
