Łazorczyk Gallery

Łazorczyk Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Poznań, focused primarily on painting as a field for exploring the image—its structure, visual tensions, and the social and political contexts of the medium.

The programme brings together artists with distinctive and consistently developed visual languages. Expression is understood here in structural terms—as a means of organising the image through rhythm, tension, and intensity, rather than as a purely aesthetic effect.

The gallery’s core activity is centred on solo exhibitions, providing space for sustained engagement with an individual artistic practice, its processes, and its evolution.

The gallery has operated since 2018 and, until 2026, was known as SZOKART. The change concerns the name only; its profile, team, and programme remain unchanged.
