The first gallery, located in an Art Nouveau townhouse on Mikołowska Street in Katowice, initially specialized in decorative arts, including antique furniture and fine porcelain.

The company’s natural growth, driven by increasing client interest, led to the expansion of its collection to include fine art and antique jewellery. In 2024, Silesia Art relocated its headquarters to an elegant new premises in the very heart of the city, at 2 Staromiejska Street.

Dr. Adam Sipiński is the founder, co-owner, and President of the Management Board of Silesia Art, a company he established in 2012.

Since its founding, he has continuously overseen the development of Silesia Art in Katowice, combining managerial expertise with a long-standing passion for art and collecting. His primary interests focus on Polish and European painting. As an art dealer and collector, he is actively involved in sourcing exceptional acquisitions and building relationships with collectors and partners in the art market.

As President of the Management Board, Dr. Sipiński is responsible for the company’s strategic growth and for shaping its prestigious position within the art and antiques market.

An antiquarian, collector, and art dealer with over 14 years of experience in the trade of fine art, antiques, and antique jewellery. For many years, he has successfully managed the operations of the gallery, combining expert knowledge with a genuine passion for collecting.

He specializes in rare European, Polish, and Silesian porcelain, as well as antique jewellery, with particular expertise in Art Nouveau and Art Deco pieces. His extensive knowledge of gemstones, pearls, and coral, combined with a refined sense of aesthetics and style, forms the foundation of the professional and highly regarded advisory services he provides to private clients and collectors alike.
