Antes Art 1900

Rachel Reijers has been collecting European Art Nouveau and Art Deco for thirty-five years, with a focus in her collection on French glass art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She opened her first art gallery in The Hague in 1988. Later, she opened a larger art gallery on Noordeinde, a street known for its art galleries and the Royal Palace. The gallery has had a website since 2015. An annual event is the Pan Amsterdam art fair, where Antes Art will be participating for the 17th time this year. Over the past 25 years, she has published several articles on (glass) art from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. She also studied art history (undergraduate program) at Leiden University for three years. Today, the collection has expanded to include (Italian) design.
