Verband Schweizer Antiquare und Kunsthändler | Syndicat Suisse des Antiquaires et Commerçants d’art | Sindacato Svizzero degli Antiquari e dei Commercianti d’arte | Swiss Association of Dealers in Antiques and Art

Founded in Lausanne in 1911, the Swiss Association of Dealers in Antiques and Art (SADAA) is one of the oldest international organizations dedicated to art dealing. The national and international engagement of its members is synonymous with trust, dedication and integrity. Thanks to their diverse expertise – from ancient to modern art, from decorative arts to fine arts, from European to Asian art – its members are trusted partners of museums, law firms, insurance companies and other public and private institutions. The quality standards associated with the profession are reflected in the organisation of temporary exhibitions, but also in the professional involvement in the areas of provenance research, authentication and archiving.

The activity of the art dealer, whose profession is based on a tradition and a hundred-year history, remains an integral part of the art world, entering into dialogue with contemporary artists, collectors and art enthusiasts. The aim of the association is thus to continue to promote dialogue between the field of antiques and with other actors in the art world.
